Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks and spending time with family over a nice dinner. Write about your most unforgettable meal.

A dinner that was unforgettable was Chritmas 2019. We had a feast the day of Chritmas which was really good and had lots of food on it. I also got to spend quality time with all my family. We talked about lots of things and what happened to us during the year because that was the first time we saw each other in that year. Also after we were done eating we opened are Chritmas presents which were very fun to open. Overall this was my most memorable dinner I have ever had. Summary: I took a test  Reflection: I learned how to work with a partner well.

Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation

A time I had to look out for myself was when I was in Ap World HIstory. I was doing the test for that class and my friend was trying to copy off me. But right as that happened Ms.Harris walked by I thought he got caught copying off me and we both got zeros but turns out she didn't realize. Right after that incident I didn't let him copy off me. Because I got so scared that we would both get zeros which would negativley affect my grade in a harmful way. So I looked out for myself. Summary: We Finished the story and responded to the questions. Reflection: I learned how to read a short story and answer properly.

Homeless

I had an ecounter with a homeless person when I saw the homeless person I gave them money. But when I did my mom got really mad at me. I never understood why but now I do. I think my mom got mad at me because he would go spend it on drugs and acholol instead of food to go help himselve. At the moment I didn't realize why she got mad. I had a whole argument with her about it. But as I matured I understood why she was mad at me and how some people would spend the money in a negative way and the money could go to do something better. Summary:Today we were reading another short story and answered questions Reflection: I learned how to use context the right way to answer questions.
I'm thankful for my family. I am tankful for all they give me and provide for me. Even when they're busy they still make time for me and my needs. Which help me stay happy and survive. They also spend lots of money on me and time to make me have a bright future and make me happy. Which Im super thankful for. I love them to death and am very thankful for them which I will always be thankful for. Summary:We learned new vocab words and use them  Reflection-I learned 15 new words.

The last scene forces readers to reinterpret Emily’s entire life. Write about a moment when new information changed your perception of a person or situation. How did that “plot twist” reshape your understanding, the same way Faulkner’s ending reshapes the story?

A plot twist that reshaped the way I think was when I realized my grandpa was not close with my dad even though when I was a kid I always thought that they were very close. When I realized this it changed the perception of my grandpa. I realized they were just acting close to protect me. Once I realized this I were thinking about what else they would be protecting me from. So sometimes I had the craziest ideas about what was going on. Summary:Today we took a group test. Reflection: I realized how much working as a team is useful.

Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?

One of the craziest news I ever heard was that my moms bestfreind was gay. I would visit my moms bestfreind often she lived on an island not far from Korea.  Everytime I went to the island she was always super nice to me. At the time she lived with this one lady which was at the time her girlfriend but they always said to me they were friends which lived togather and I didn't bat a eye. I always was amazed by their great cooking skills and their kindness. But when I moved to Amercia my mom and dad were talking I overheard that she was gay and it all made sense. But when I was a kid I didn't realize that. Summary:We finished the story and did a activity about it. Reflection: I learned the difference between indirect and direct charhterzation.

Miss Emily’s house once represented pride and tradition, but over time it became a symbol of decay and isolation. Describe a place that holds deep memories for you—positive or negative—and explain how it reflects part of who you are or how you’ve changed over time.

A place that holds deep memories is a stadium of my old team in Souel South Korea. Every Sunday I used to go too Souel Eland games. Every week I was very excited to go watch my favirote team. But then in 2020 the stadium was abandoned and left to die. I was deeply saddned when they abandoded the stadium. It was really sad and it was like my childhood was coming to an end. Which made me mature more after the stadium got abandoned. Summary:Today we read a long poem. Reflection: I learned about sybilosim.

Think about the vocabulary words from Lesson Two. Write about a time you saw or heard one of these words outside of the classroom — maybe in a movie, song, social media post, or book. Describe how it was used and whether the context helped you understand the word better.

A time I heard one of these words was vestige. I remeber I heard this word pretty recently in AP Us history. When my teacher was giving examples of old traditions that are still around today. Hearing it in that lesson helped me understand that vestige means something left over from the past. The example made the word easier to remember. This helped me use the word today. Summary: We learned a vocabulary words Reflection:I learned many new words I didn't previously know.

which parent or guardian in your life has been the strictest when it comes to discipline? Explain how their approach to discipline has influenced you or shaped your behavior.

My mom was the strictest person in my life. She always had rules and made sure I followed them. Sometimes it felt harsh but it taught me to be responsible and think before I act. Because of her I learned to be respectful organized and careful with my choices. In The Rockpile the parents are also strict to keep their children safe and guide them to do the right thing. Summary:We did a test with our group. Reflection: I realized how imprtant it is to work with our group.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade

At the time of my childhood my parents would not allow me to play near the street and they would always say it was reckless because cars could shred by and drivers could not see me quickly enough. As a child this felt unfair as my friends would sometimes play there but now I see they were attempting to protect me and prevent something unfortunate from happening similar to The Rockpile where the parents are trying to protect their children from danger. Summary:We read a short story about a rockipile Reflection:I learned that some parents like one son more then the other.

Words shape how we think, write, and interpret literature.

Learning the word symbolism helped me understand many stories. I learned that objects in stories have special meanings at times. This made reading more fun and interesting. Using the word in my writing helped me explain my ideas clearly. It showed me how important words are in understanding stories. Summary:We learned new vocabulary words and did a activity about them Reflection:I Learned lots of new vocabulary words and now know when to use them.

Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

One time I stopped and admired nature was when I was walking in a quiet park after it snowed and everything looked calm and white. I felt the way the snow glittered in the streetlights and how still the world was. The trees covered with soft powdery snow were quiet along with everything else; there was no noise to be heard but my footsteps. I felt calm and grateful for stillness around me. It made me forget my problems for a minute. That moment reminded me to slow down and enjoy simple things in life. Summary:Today anaylazed our poem and did a project about it Reflection:I learned what imagery is.
