Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade

At the time of my childhood my parents would not allow me to play near the street and they would always say it was reckless because cars could shred by and drivers could not see me quickly enough. As a child this felt unfair as my friends would sometimes play there but now I see they were attempting to protect me and prevent something unfortunate from happening similar to The Rockpile where the parents are trying to protect their children from danger.

Summary:We read a short story about a rockipile

Reflection:I learned that some parents like one son more then the other.
