If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

 I think about the future almost every day. Wondering which college will be the right place for me. It feels stressful trying to choose a path that will shape what happens in my life. But I also feel excited about new opportunities and goals. Even though I am unsure I know I will keep working hard. And trust that everything will fall into place in the end. When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

 I Start listening to music to relax. Take a few deep breaths to calm down. Go for a short walk to clear my  mind. Talk to a friend for support or do something fun like playing a game or drawing.I always try to  Remember that the bad mood will not last forever and it will go away at a certainn point of time in the day. Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

 A personal approach I take to use my creativity is I brainstorm for 15 minutes before my projects.  This helps me use my creativtey more during the project.  My proudest project I made was my freshman Bioligy project. I was supposed to make a video about what I learned about the whole year. So I edited my viedo with lots of color and wrote a whole script and filmed it in about a week or two. Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 I had to rely on my mom when I was sick. I felt weak and tired and could not do things on my own. At first it was frustrating to need help. Knowing my mom was there made me feel safe and calm. It showed me how important it is to have someone you can trust. I always loved my mom and this really helped. Summary:We did a rhetorcial anaylsis. Reflection: I learned how to analyse rhetoric devices.

After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

 I persoannly think ethos is the rhetorical device I find most effective. It builds trust between the speaker and the audience. When a speaker shows credibility people listen more closely. Trust makes arguments feel fair and believable. This makes ethos very useful in persuasive writing. I think this would be the rhetoric device I would use most. Summary:Absent Reflection:Absent

 I like the word cerebral because it means using your brain to think a lot. I have always been a person who likes to sit and wonder why things happen. It feels good to have a quiet place in my head to solve problems. This word is special to me because it shows that thinking can be a way to understand the world. It helps me stay calm and learn. Summary:I did my vocabulary words and wrote sentences for them. Reflection:I learned new words.

A time I didn't feel like myself.

 I felt very different after I hurt my knee. I could not move around or play like I usually do. The pain and the brace made me feel like a different person. It was hard to be my normal, active self while I was recovering. I couldn't move like I could usually when I wanted to try to move. Summary:Today we anaylaze Martin Luther Kings speech. Reflection:I learned how to find parts of rhetorical analysis in a speech.

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

 I feel most at peace in South Korea at the park near my childhood home. The familiar places and quiet paths make me feel calm and safe. Being there brings back happy memories from when I was younger. It reminds me of where I come from and helps me relax. What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?

 Some life skills I learned at high school is turning work on time. This skill I use almost everyday in my day to day life and in school. This has helped me keep better track of deadlines and help me in day to day life. I will make sure this skill carries on to when I go to college this skill will help me finish with a better grade and will help me even when I get a job. Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 A time I took a break from something was when I stopped playing soccer during COVID. My daily routine before that was playing soccer everyday but when COVID hit I didn't player soccer for a while. I started gaining weight and lost my skills but after COVID I got back and lost weight and started playing soccer again. Which two this day I enjoy very much and I play to this day. Summary: We learned more rhetoric devices.  Reflection:I learned about rhetoric questions.

The class today felt like it lasted 20,000 years. It was so boring that I had to focus really hard. I concentrated so much that I finished all my work. I could feel the time dragging on slowly. Every minute felt longer than the one before. The class was not bad today. It made me very unhappy. Summary:We learned about literary devices. Reflection: I learned three different literary devices.

Winter Break

 My winter break was nice I spent lots of time with my family, My family from California came over so I spent Chritmas with them. I also practiced soccer with my friends over winter break. Overall my winter break was fun and a great expreince. The first goal I want to achieve is getting an offer from a college for soccer. This goal is important because it will increase my chances of going to a good college and paying less for college. To accomplish this goal, I will stay in touch with the colleges I'm talking to right now and go to lots of ID camps in the summer so hopefully by the start of my senior year I'm going to have some offers. The second goal I want to achieve is getting a good score on the SAT. This goal is important because it will widen the range of colleges I can go to and help me get into very good collges with scholarships.
