Prompt: Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

 The topic that challenged me the most was self doubt because it was hard to describe feelings in a clear way. I struggled to find a comparison that felt real and easy to understand. I worked through it by thinking about everyday experiences people can relate to. Next time I would spend more time brainstorming before choosing my figurative language.

 A dream that felt real was  me being stuck in an elevator and I got scared which turned me into having a fear of elevators and cluatsriphobia. I was stuck inside an elevator and couldn’t get out. I became very scared. When I woke up I was shaken up and instead of taking the elevator the next day I took the stairs. That one dream gave me a fear of elevators and made me feel claustrophobic. My favorite word right now is intriguing which means interesting. I don’t use it often but when I use it I feel like a professional person. I like it because it makes ordinary things sound more exciting. I try to use it when I talk about books movies or ideas that catch my attention. Using it makes my conversations and writing feel more thoughtful. It also helps me express my curiosity about the world. I enjoy hearing it in other people’s conversations because it makes them sound creative. Summary: I counited my 10 page slide  Reflection: I relieved my childhood and brought back what I liked.
