A conversation that changed me was with my mom. She asked me what I wanted to do as a career. I have played soccer all my life. When I was twelve, she asked me that question. In my head, I was thinking I wanted to be a soccer player. But I thought my mom wanted a different and more reasonable answer. Which changed my idea about what I would do when I grew up.  I believed in Santa as a child. I love the tradition and I still keep it with other children. I used to wait for Santa every Christmas Eve. I would leave cookies and milk for him.  I think I would need to stand up for the usefulness for sports for day to day life. I have played sports my whole life and I think it is very useful for making friends. It also helps stay fit for the future. Some might say as you get older to quit . But I would argue that and still try to play. I think sports is a essential thing you should do all your life. Not just stop when you get older. This is something I would argue with people as I get older.  A truth I was afraid to accept was my favorite singer Dv4d was a killer and a pedo. I always listened to his music and I loved his live streams. But when this got a news headline I couldn't believe it. But as new evidence came out it was harder to believe him. I loved his songs but know I cant listen to his songs without feeling guilty. I hope his innocent. But it is not looking good for him right now. Summary:Today we leanred about pathos ethos and logos Reflection: I figured out the diffrence between all three devices.

 My parents judged me poorly when my teacher told my parents I wasn't doing something I wasn't supposed to do even though I was. My parents was disappointed in me even though I did what I was supposed to do. So I told my parents my point of view but they didn't believe me. I kept insisting to my parents that I was doing what I was supposed to do but they didn't believe me. They believed my teacher over me which I thought was unfair.  What are some famous dances and celebrations that people celebrate during Hispanic heritage month. How do you celebrate these holidays or days. What type of dances do you do while celebrating. These are some questions I would have about Hispanic heritage month. If I was learning about Hispanic heritage month. Lastly I would wonder when they would celebrate like what are the important dates for Hispanic heritage month. Summary: Today we learned how to start writing a essay. Micheals cuaght my attetion becuase I have been too Georgia tech games and I really enjoy it. I enjoy how he compares the Georgia tech game too a battle, I feel like this is a perfect comparsion. The players are always battling for a win and puting their body on the line. The way he presented it with a smile on my face also lightened my mood. I really like this presentation. This presntation was the prestation that cuaght my attetion most. Summary:Today I presented my poem. Reflection:I learned how to present well and with a clear voice.

My neighbor started coming over to are house a lot. She was mean and didn't care about people but somehow my grandma really liked her. She cam uninvited and stayed at our house for a long period of time which I didn't appreciate. My mood everytime she was their was not as good as when she was their. She got on my nerves a lot.  Three words that I would probably use the most over the course of this semester would be Ambigous,Asthetic and Amoral. Ambigous is a word that you could use lots of times in your writing for something that is unclear. I like how this word sounds complex. Aesthetic is a very popular word on social media and I already use it a lot. Amoral sounds like a word with a lot a meaning behind it. I can use this word to convey someone who doesn't know right between wrong. So maybe like evil people.

 The best part of being apart of lakeside is the friends I get to make. Its like everyday I get to meet someone new. I show off school spirit by being nice to others. Reprsetnting the school for sports. I also follow the rules. My favorite thing about hoco week is the spirit days. In which we get to dress up with a new theme everyday. I put on my best outfits to go to school with an excited feeling to see what other people wore to school. I also get excited about other people seeing my outfit as well which I really enjoy.  The learning method I enjoy most are class disscussion they are enertanining and engaging. I also love group projects becuase I talk to new people and get closer to them. I like listening to other peoples ideas and sharing my own. Working together makes learning easier and more enjoyable. These are the learning methods I like best. Summary:Today I made a poster for my poem Reflection: I learned how to use adobe create better and how it works.

The aspect of creating a poem that I enjoy most is the creative part like thinking about what story Im going to write and the rhymes I am going to create. Each line make me think more about myself. This make me think deeper about what state of mind I'm in. Finding rhymes are like making a puzzle connecting all the pieces to eachother. The rhymes write itself which I really enjoy. The story make me feel very creative and smart as well. Making poems really make me think which I really appreciate. A bold moment for me was when I was 8 I rode a plane from La to Korea all by myself. When I was 8 I had a descion to mkae. It was either do not go to LA at all or go to LA but when coming back ride the plane by yourself. I chose to go and face the challenge even though I was scared .I told myself I could handle it. I sat on the plane looked out the window and felt proud that I was brave enough to do something on my own Summary:Today I anaylazed a poem Reflection: I realizd how in depth I need to go to anaylaze poems.

 I would choose Party in The USA by Miley cyrus. Because Im having a very good time in the United States and playing and doing my work. I am about to go to LA as well which is where the song is set. The joyful vibe is reprenstive of what I am right now. I am very happy.  Summary: We took a test today  Refletion: I realized how hard amercian lit is going to be.

The topic would fall into failure comes with success. My overall message would be that failure teaches me more than winning. Success is only their because of mistakes. Each setback is proof that I am still moving forward.  The class has been going well. I have a good grade in the class. The blogs really make me think about how I am and how I think. I think some of the work is a bit rigrous. But I enjoy the class very much. I think the teacher is a good teacher. Im learning a lot in this class too. I enjoy reading sometimes in this class and this class brings that joy out for me. Which I am very grateful for. I a looking foward to the many weeks we have left of the class. Summary: We analyzed a poem  Reflection: I learned what and how to analysis a poem.
