Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?

My closest friend left the state over the summer and it happened quicker than I was expecting. We were just hanging out every day one day and she was gone the next. I figured that everything would just stay the same forever but things changed overnight. At first I felt lost and sad without her. Over time I understood good times do not last forever but memories linger. This reminds me of Frost's theory that "Nothing gold can stay" because even the best things must end but their beauty is still paramount.
