Both poems

My closest friend left the state over the summer and it happened quicker than I was expecting. We were just hanging out every day one day and she was gone the next. I figured that everything would just stay the same forever but things changed overnight. At first I felt lost and sad without her. Over time I understood good times do not last forever but memories linger. This reminds me of Frost's theory that "Nothing gold can stay" because even the best things must end but their beauty is still paramount.  Summary:We analysied a poem Reflection:I learned the definitions of lots of words.

Boundaries

I had to set a boundary with a friend who would always take my things without asking. I told them I was fine with sharing, but they had to ask me first. They got a little upset at first, but then they understood and apologized. Our friendship was actually better after that because we respected each other more. It taught me that good boundaries can make relationships stronger. Summary:Today we did a common lit Reflection: I learned how to more deeply analyis a poem.

Both poems by Robert Frost explore the passage of time and life’s changing moments. Write about a time when something in your life changed more quickly than you expected. How does this experience connect to Frost’s idea that “Nothing gold can stay”?

s we think about our upcoming Vocabulary Monday, tell me what is your favorite word RIGHT NOW? Why is it your faovorite word and how often do you use it?

My favorite word right now is intriguing which means interesting. I don’t use it often but when I use it I feel like a professional person. I like it because it makes ordinary things sound more exciting. I try to use it when I talk about books movies or ideas that catch my attention. Using it makes my conversations and writing feel more thoughtful. It also helps me express my curiosity about the world. I enjoy hearing it in other people’s conversations because it makes them sound creative. Summary: I counited my 10 page slide  Reflection: I relieved my childhood and brought back what I liked.

Think about the role of imagination in your own life. How does imagination help you cope with challenges, boredom, or stress?

Imagination helps me cure boredom. I create stories and scenarios to keep myself entertained. Even though if something is going bad, I imagine it going well, which brings me comfort. It helps my stress go down because I can make good stories in my imagination, which takes me out of reality for a second. In turn, this helps me calm down when I don't feel the safest or when I feel nervous, which my imagination helps me a lot with. Summary: We analyzed another poem Reflection: I relearned more about my childhood which I forgot I did or used.
